Obituary For Sandra J. McEvoy

November 23, 1955 - December 21, 2015

McEvoy, Sandra J. (Booth) Age 60, suddenly on Monday, December 21, 2015, of Brentwood .

Beloved wife of 28 years to Daniel C. McEvoy; loving mother of Doug (Jamie) McEvoy, Shane and Nicole McEvoy; proud grandmother of Hayley, Curtis and Jaylyn McEvoy; sister of Debra (Larry) Warner, Cheryl (Guillermo) Cole, Greg, Jeff and the late Mike Sydor; also survived by in-laws, nieces, nephews, cousins, neighbors and friends. Friends will be received at the John F. Slater Funeral Home, Inc., 412-881-4100, 4201 Brownsville Road, Brentwood 15227, Sunday from 2-8 p.m. where a blessing service will be held Monday at 12:30 p.m.

    So sorry for your loss. It's always hard to loose a loved one but especially hard this time of year. Know matter what anyone says it won't take the pain away. But with all the kind words that people say does help. I didn't get a chance to know Sandy. But I do know you Dan and I got to know two of her children. She has a wonderful caring family. May she rest in peace. And I know she wouldn't want her family to be sad. She loved you all very much. But she is at peace.
