Karman, Sandra K. (Kessler), age 79, on Wednesday, July 30, 2014 of Mt. Oliver. Wife of the late Robert N. Karman; beloved mother of Sherri (Tom) Kroll, Kerri Bright, Scott (Linda) Karman, Kevin Karman and Dori (Dave Parks) Karman; grandmother of Abigail, Rebecca, Katherine, Victoria, Kayla, Zachary, Kory, Tyler, Andrew, Robert Nathan, Joshua and Jordan; sister of Charles (Rene) Kessler and the late Donald and Robert Kessler. Also survived by her loving nieces and nephews. Friends will be received at the John F. Slater Funeral Home, Inc., 412-881-4100, 4201 Brownsville Road, Brentwood 15227 on Saturday at 11:30 a.m. until the time of a celebration of her life service at 12:30 p.m. In lieu of flowers, family suggests helping celebrate her life.     Scott, Sherri, Kevin, Kerri and Dori: Please know that our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family on this day. You have to know that your Mom was a very special lady. I can remember many an evening when she would be sitting on the front steps and I would join her. We did a lot of "bulling" but I enjoyed it. Jim and I wish we could be with you tomorrow to celebrate you Mom's wonderful life, but due to previous committments, we can't. Please know that our thoughts will be with you. God bless you all.
