Obituary For Sara M. Goldstein

September 30, 1922 - November 13, 2014

Goldstein, Sara, age 92, passed away peacefully on Thursday, November 13, 2014, of Providence Point in Mt. Lebanon, formerly of Malden, MA. Mrs. Goldstein was a graduate of the Beth Israel Hospital School of Nursing. She went on to earn a Bachelor's degree from the University of Massachusetts and a Master's degree in Public Health from Boston University. For a majority of her career, she held leadership positions in nursing and public health at the Malden Hospital, Malden, MA. She is survived by her beloved children, Sandra Solomon of Mt. Lebanon, PA, Charles Goldstein of Medford, NJ, her brother Leonard Wilensky, her treasured granddaughters Eric Loop and Rebecca Goldstein and adored grandson Ian Loop. Funeral Services will be private. Arrangements entrusted to John F. Slater Funeral Home, Inc., 412-881-4100, 4201 Brownsville Road, Brentwood 15227.
