Age 87, on Friday, August 19, 2016, of Brentwood and Whitehall.

Beloved husband of 66 years to Vickie (Javorski); loving father of Robert (Carol), Mary Ann (Kenneth) Fedak, Cindy (Greg) Martz, Pat (Mark) Atkinson and Ellen Corona; proud grandfather to Kenny Fedak, Chris (Renee) Fedak, Laura (Doug) Rose, Jessica (Scott) Winter, Jennifer (Paul) O'Rourke, Kate Atkinson, Andi Corona, Vicki Atkinson, Phil Corona, Abby Martz and Ally Martz; loving great-grandfather of six; brother of Cathy Calega, Rick (Mary Lou) Schmitt and the late Joe, Al, Gert, Paul and Marie Schmitt and Ann Vukela. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Bob was the Scout leader of St. Sylvester's Boy Scout Troop 296 for over 50 years. He was most proud of the many boys who achieved the rank of Eagle Scout under his guidance. Friends will be received at the John F. Slater Funeral Home, Inc., 412-881-4100, 4201 Brownsville Road, Brentwood 15227, Monday from 5-8 pm and Tuesday from 2-4 and 6-8 pm. Funeral Prayer on Wednesday morning at 9:15. Mass of Christian Burial in St. Sylvester Church at 10.
