Obituary For Selma McCloskey

December 22, 1912 - June 5, 2015

McCloskey, Selma E. (Sauers) Age 102, peacefully on Friday, June 5, 2015 of Asbury Heights, formerly of Whitehall.

Beloved wife of 65 years to the late Albert R. McCloskey; loving mother of Selma R. (the late Bill) Schutte and Marian M. (Joe) Lytle; caring grandmother of Suzy (Mike) Profeta, Bill (Dana) Schutte, Joe (Marcia) Lytle, Jr. and John (Rayann) Lytle; proud great-grandmother of Stephanie (Mark Kasparek), Stephen, Lauren, Maddie, Ashley, Craig, Mckenzie, Hailey and Jamie (Zack Bugay); daughter of the late Elizabeth and Stephen Sauers; sister of the late Anne Baker; aunt of Jan, Carol and Chuck and dear friend of Rosalie and Bob. Friends will be received at the John F. Slater Funeral Home, Inc., 412-881-4100, 4201 Brownsville Rd., Brentwood 15227, Wednesday from 2-4 and 6-8 where Funeral Services will be held on Thursday at 11 am. If desired, family suggests contributions to Asbury Heights, 700 Bower Hill Road, Pittsburgh, PA 15243 or North Zion Lutheran Church, 5100 Brownsville Rd, Pittsburgh, PA 15236.
