It is with much sadness that we need to say goodbye to our mom, Shirley Zuber, of West Mifflin. Shirley Zuber, 92, passed away peacefully on Thursday, June 14, 2018. Shirley was born in Pittsburgh, the daughter of James and Myrtle (Moody) Stuart. After graduating from Brentwood High School, she married her wonderful, loving husband, George W. Zuber. Shirley was the loved and adored mother of 4 children, Ron (Anne) Zuber of Wenonah, NJ, Deborah (Orrin) Snow of Auburn, NY, Kim (David) Ramsey, of Jefferson Hills and Todd (Cindy) Zuber of McKeesport. She was the loving grandmother of Tara Zuber Victoria, Sean Zuber, George Zuber, Chelsea Zuber Brooks, Brian Zuber, Ryan Snow, Jason Ramsey, Joshua Ramsey, Jared Ramsey, Daniel Zuber, Deanne Zuber, Jeremy Zuber and Jessica Zuber Kopchinski. She cherished her great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren. Shirley is survived by her sister, Joan Warren of New Castle, PA, cousins, nieces and nephews. Shirley was predeceased by her parents and her husband, George Zuber. The Zuber family would like to express their sincere appreciation to Overlook Green and the staff for the quality of care they provided. Friends will be received at the John F. Slater Funeral Home, Inc., 412-881-4100, 4201 Brownsville Road, Brentwood 15227, Tuesday, June 19, 2018, 4:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. & Wednesday, June 20, 2018, 10:00 a.m. until the time of service at 11:00 a.m. Burial will follow in Jefferson Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, family suggests memorial contributions to Three Rivers Hospice.
