Sister Louise Marie (Anne Therese) Simcoe, a Sister of St. Francis of the Providence of God for 54 years died on March 30, 2018 at age 71. Born January 8, 1947 in Pittsburgh, she is survived by her sister Louise (Paul) Kaiser. Sister was a primary grade educator for 27 years, spending many of those years at James Lavelle School in West Mifflin and St. Valentine, Bethel Park. Sister Louise Marie ministered as a Parish Visitor at the Catholic Community in Sharpsburg and St. Joseph Parish, O'Hara Township. She was dedicated to the St. Casimir Alumni as the Liaison to the Board. Friends will be received at John F. Slater Funeral Home, 4201 Brownsville Rd, Pittsburgh PA 15227 on Monday, April 2, 3:00-5:00PM, 6:00-8:00, Wake Service at 6:30PM. Mass of Christian Burial on Tuesday, April 3, 10:30AM, St. Germaine Church, 7003 Baptist Rd. Bethel Park PA 15102. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Sisters of St. Francis of the Providence of God, 3757 Library Road, Pittsburgh, PA 15234.
