Kaseta, Sister Rosalie, OSF Sister Rosalie Kaseta, a member of the Sisters of St. Francis of the Providence of God for 75 years, died at the age of 91 on September 11, 2017. Born April 16, 1926 in New York, NY, she was preceded in death by her parents. She is survived by sisters Marie Barr (Johnstown, NY), Betty Ring (Freeport, NY) Antoinette Pernetta (London), brother, John (Bayside, NY) and nieces and nephews. Sister Rosalie was an elementary educator for 23 years before serving as librarian at St. Francis Academy for ten years. Gifted with many talents, Sister Rosalie was a missionary in Brazil, directed the Pastoral Care program in St. Joseph Hospital, Alton IL, ministered for over 20 years as motherhouse liturgist/organist, and finally served as assistant to the Campus Administrator after which she began a ministry of prayer at Presbyterian SeniorCare in Oakmont PA. Friends will be received at John Slater Funeral Home, 4201 Brownsville Rd, Pittsburgh PA 15227 on Thursday, September 14, 2017 from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. with a wake service at 6:00 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be on Friday, September 15, 2017 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Germaine Church, 7003 Baptist Rd. Bethel Park, PA 15102. EVERYONE PLEASE MEET AT CHURCH. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Sisters of St. Francis of the Providence of God, 3757 Library Road, Pittsburgh, PA 15234.
