Obituary For Sophia Rouda

August 8, 1929 - May 20, 2018

Rouda, Sophia (Popovich), peacefully went to be with her Lord on Sunday, May 20, 2018 of Baldwin, formerly of South Side. Loving mother of Jill L. Carroll; proud grandmother of Alex and Katie Carroll; daughter of the late Charles and Pauline Popovich; sister of George Popovich and the late Irene Cowan, Anne Zarenko, Paul and John Popovich. Also survived by George Rouda and loving nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends. Friends will be received at the John F. Slater Funeral Home, Inc., 412-881-4100, 4201 Brownsville Road, Brentwood PA 15227 on Thursday, May 24, 2018 from 3-8 p.m. Funeral service on Friday in Baldwin Community United Methodist Church at 11:00 a.m. Everyone please meet at church. In lieu of flowers, family suggests contributions to Baldwin Community United Methodist Church, 5001 Baptist Road, Pittsburgh, PA 15236.
