Obituary For Sophie R. Ford

August 26, 1918 - September 4, 2015

Ford, Sophie R. Age 97, on Friday, September 4, 2015, of South Side.

Beloved wife of the late William "Bill" Ford; loving mother of Rose M. Yost, Frank (Barbara) Ford, Richard (Cindy) Ford, Mary Ann (Ron) Seyler, Geri Ford and the late John Ford. Also survived by 8 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren and 4 great-great grandchildren with a 5th on the way and numerous nieces and nephews; sister of Frank Zimecki. Friends will be received at the John F. Slater Funeral Home, Inc., 412-881-4100, 4201 Brownsville Road, Brentwood 15227, on Monday from 6 - 8 pm and Tuesday from 2 - 8 pm. Funeral Prayer on Wednesday at 9 am. Mass of Christian Burial in St. Mary of the Mount Church at 10.
