Obituary For Susann M. Baumgart

Age 81, of Baldwin, passed away peacefully on Monday, December 29, 2025. Beloved wife of the late Donald L. Baumgart; loving mother of Dawn L. Hinnebusch (Eric Fenk) and Michelle L. (Todd) Cipolla; proud grandmother "Nano" of Nicholas P. Rubenstein, Louis M. Cipolla and Samuel M. Cipolla; daughter of the late Anthony and Helen Dieckmann; sister of Peggy (Dave) Cosnek, Herman (Kay) Dieckmann, Michael (Perri) Dieckmann and the late Mary (survived by Denny) Richey and Anthony (survived by Joy) Dieckmann; sister-in-law of Daniel (Isabel) Baumgart. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Susann's greatest joy was her family and she will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her. Friends will be received at the John F. Slater Funeral Home, Inc., 412-881-4100, 4201 Brownsville Road, Brentwood 15227 on Sunday, January 4, 2026 from 2:00-6:00 p.m. Funeral prayer on Monday at 9:45 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial in Blessed Trinity Parish, St. Albert the Great Church at 10:30 a.m. If desired, the family suggests contributions to St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
