Obituary For Thomas C. "Big Tom" Allridge, Sr.

Age 76, passed away peacefully on September 18th, 2021. Beloved husband of 54 years to Jacquelyn and proud father of Thomas C. (Kellie) Allridge, Jr. and Tammi (Daniel) Kramer. Nothing brought him more joy than his grandsons, Thomas Zachary (Nicole) Allridge and Bennett Kramer. Tom is also survived by his brother-in-law, William (Wilma) Smith and sister-in-law, Margie Allridge. Proud friend of Bill W.

He joins his parents, Norma Alvarine and Thomas Allridge, and his younger brother, Robert Allridge in Heaven. He is also reunited with his beloved pup, Rocky. Aside from his grandchildren, Tom was happiest on the golf course with his dear friend Henry. Even in recent years, as his health declined, he would do whatever it took to hit the greens; even if that meant nearly driving his cart onto the green with his oxygen tank strapped to his side. He lived and loved to golf.

The family would like to thank Tom’s neighbors who have been so thoughtful and helpful as his health worsened in recent years. Family and friends will be received at John F. Slater Funeral Home, 4201 Brownsville Road, Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania on Thursday, September 23, 2021 from 4:00-7:00 with a blessing service at 7:00. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations be made to the Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh Foundation in Tom’s name as a thank you for all that the hospital has done for his grandson, Bennett, and all that they continue to do for so many children.
