I was a neighbor of the Greaves family during my pre-teens and early teens. I lived on Elderslee Rd., and I knew Gary, Richard and Tom. I spent a great deal of time with Rich. He, Pat O'Conner and I spent many happy days together. I always had a great deal of respect and admiration for Rich and Tom, who were closest to me in age (Rich, three years older and Tom, one year older). I lost frequent contact with them when our family moved to Varner Rd., and only saw them at the high school halls occasionally. I still cherish the memories of time spent with Rich, and remember Tom very well. I am very disappointed and saddened to learn of Tom's death. To the Greaves family members, I express my heartfelt grief and sympathy, and I pray comfort to all of you as well, in the sincere belief that Tom has in reality gone into life, not out of it. Cherish your memories of him and expect to reunite with him again some day.
