Thomas J. Bertha, age 69, of Pleasant Hills, passed away peacefully on Friday, October 10, 2025.

Beloved father of Jamie (Andy) Tesfazion; proud Pappy of Jade, Zara and Eve Tesfazion; loving brother of Dan Bertha, Diane Reutzel, Patty Perry and Mike Bertha; son of the late Paul and Elva Bertha. Also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Tommy was an avid outdoorsman who loved traveling across the country, camping, fishing, boating, and golfing. He worked as an autoworker for over thirty years at Fisher Body, General Motors, in West Mifflin. Tommy also loved spending time with his pit bull companions, Max, Callie, and Rox. The family would like to thank the staff and nurses at UPMC Montefiore Hospital for their loving care. Friends will be received at the John F. Slater Funeral Home, Inc., 412-881-4100, 4201 Brownsville Road, Brentwood 15227 on Sunday, November 2, 2025 from 12-7 pm. A Memorial Service will be held on Monday, November 3, 2025 in the John F.
