DeCou, Ursula (Schaffner) Age 83, on Sunday, May 14, 2017, of Pleasant Hills.

Beloved wife of the late Samuel S. DeCou, III; loving mother of Francine Arre, Erika Sullivan and Jacqueline DeCou; grandmother of Steven McMahon, Billy Arre, Jr. and Lindsay Sullivan; sister of Margaret Adras, Elsbeth Smith and Erika Quante. Ursula was a member of Whitehall Presbyterian Church and Whitehall AARP. Ursula's favorite job was wife and mother- she excelled at both. She and Sam were blessed to travel extensively together. We would like to extend sincere appreciation to the caregivers at Arden Courts Assisted Living in Jefferson Hills, and Heartland Hospice for their continuous support. Friends received at the John F. Slater Funeral Home, Inc., 412-881-4100, 4201 Brownsville Road, Brentwood 15227 on Thursday, May 18, 2017 from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. A private family memorial service will be held at a later date.
