I am so sorry to hear of Val's passing, I know your mom is happy to be back with him. Coincidentally, my husband was cleaning out one of the garages at St Sylvester's last week and found several card shufflers and many packs of cards. I actually got to know Val and Kathy while working the festivals at St Sylvester and they became good friends. Many nights I would sit on the bench with Kathy waiting for the card games to finally come to an end so they could go home. Val was a wonderful man, always with a smile and something nice to say. He will be missed but remembered often with smiles,

My deepest sympathies to the Ganter family. I worked with Val at Parkway Foodservice. I remember Val as a man always smiling and caring for others. I know Val was a man of great faith. May his memory be eternal. Tony Pappis

You were a wonderful father and loved by many. You will be missed more than you know. Rest in peace Dad I hope you are laughing with mom and walking again. I know you wanted to live until you were 100 but believe me when I say you made an impact in many lives during your 84 years on this earth so reaching 100 is just a number being who you were was 100 times more important and you undoubtedly hit that out of the park! Enjoy the heavens dad I will forever remember all you did for me in my lifetime.
