Obituary For Vernon Louis Buechel

January 17, 1929 - August 18, 2014

Buechel, Vern Age 85, on Monday, August 18, 2014, of Baldwin Borough.

Husband of Marie (Lynn); father of Mike (Robin), Terri and Dan (Amy) Buechel; grandfather of Nick, Emily, Jack, Anthony and Annie; brother of Rose (Don) Will, Hank (Rosie), Paul and the late Francis. Vern is also survived by nieces and nephews and was a proud US Army veteran. There will be No Visitation. Arrangements by John F. Slater Funeral Home, Inc., 412-881-4100. Mass of Christian Burial on Thursday 10:00 am at St. Albert the Great Church, 3171 Schieck Street, Pittsburgh, PA 15227. If desired, family suggests contributions to Family Hospice, 50 Moffett St., Pittsburgh, PA 15243.
