Laurie, Vincent F., age 90, on Friday, April 6, 2018 of Finleyville, formerly of Pittsburgh. Husband of the late Brilliant Oliver Laurie; father of Kirk Laurie; son of the late Vincent and Julia Laurie; brother of the late Edward and Richard Laurie. Also survived by nieces and nephews. Vincent served in the U.S. Navy during WWII, Pacific Theatre as a Motor Machinist, Mate 3rd Class. He was a well known barber in Brentwood for nearly 50 years and played professional jazz piano for several prominent artists. Friends will be received at the John F. Slater Funeral Home, Inc., 412-881-4100, 4201 Brownsville Road, Brentwood 15227 on Monday, April 9, 2018 from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. where a blessing service will be held on Tuesday at 11:00 a.m.
