Obituary For Vincent J. Bucci

Octoer 30, 1922 - April 21, 2017

Bucci, Vincent J. Age 94, on Friday, April 21, 2017, of Oakland.

Beloved husband of 71 years to Marie G.; loving father of Kathleen M. (Donald) Stock, Ken (Louise) Bucci and the late Vincent J., Jr. and Donna Louise Bucci; proud grandpap of Judy (Chris) Aiello, Ryan and Lauren Bucci; great-grandpap of Cash and Cruz; brother of Ralph Bucci and the late Ida Canale and Margaret Fozard. Also survived by in-laws, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Vince proudly served his country in the U.S. Marine Corps in WWII where he received the Purple Heart Medal. He was in the Battle of Okinawa and Iwo Jima. Friends will be received at the John F. Slater Funeral Home, Inc., 412-881-4100, 4201 Brownsville Road, Brentwood 15227, Sunday, April 23, 2017, from 2-8 p.m. Funeral Prayer on Monday morning at 9:00 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial in St. Paul Cathedral at 10:00 a.m. If desired, family suggests contributions to Disabled American Veterans, 1000 Liberty Avenue, Room 1606, Pittsburgh, PA 15222.
