August 5, 1922 - December 23, 2015

Martin, Virginia F. "Greems" On Wednesday, December 23, 2015, of Whitehall .

Beloved wife of the late James R. Martin, Sr.; loving mother of James R. (Patricia L.) Martin, Jr., Shawn (Terry) Martin, Charmaine Dawso, Pamela (Russ) McKlveen and Amy (Julie Nichols) Martin; loving "Greems" to nine grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren; sister of Robert (Norma) Wallace; also survived by many loving nieces and nephews. Virginia was a longtime member of the St. Pius X Byzantine Church. Visitation will be held Saturday, January 2, 2016, 12:00 p.m. until the time of her funeral service at 2 p.m. at the John F. Slater Funeral Home, Inc., 412-881-4100, 4201 Brownsville Road, Brentwood 15227. In lieu of flowers, family suggests contributions to American Cancer Society, 320 Bilmar Drive, Pittsburgh, PA 15205.
