Obituary For Walter J. Fire

March 27, 1928 - June 11, 2015 Fire, Walter J., Age 87, on Thursday, June 11, 2015 of Whitehall, formerly of Ross Township. Beloved husband of Phyllis Fire; father of Karen (Brian) Distelzweig and Walter J., II; stepfather of Mario (Laurie) Yobbi, Daniel (Lynn) Yobbi, Anthony (Elaine) Yobbi, Gregory (Dana) Yobbi, and the late Rick (survived by Lauree) Yobbi; grandfather of Seth, Sadie, Selena, Ashley, Lee, Anthony, Angela, Alayna, Amy, Courtney, Eric, Evan, Sarah, Nick, Samantha, and the late Amber; great-grandfather of Xavier and Easton; brother of Frank Fire, II. Friends will be received at the John F. Slater Funeral Home, Inc., 412-881-4100, 4201 Brownsville Rd., Brentwood 15227, Sunday from 2-8 p.m. Funeral prayer on Monday morning at 10:30. Funeral services will follow in Baldwin Community United Methodist Church at 11:00 a.m. If desired, family suggests contributions to Family Hospice and Palliative Care, 50 Moffett Street, Pittsburgh, PA 15243.
