Obituary For Walter W. "Hank" Klinkner

April 19, 1934 - March 24, 2017

Klinkner, Walter W. "Hank" Age 82, on Friday, March 24, 2017, of Brookline.

Beloved husband of 46 years to Paula K. (Muth) Klinkner; loving father of Shirley Anne (Robert) Revell, John W. (Kathleen) Klinkner, Adrienne M. Henchell, and Michael W. (Lara) Klinkner; son of the late Walter H. and Angela Klinkner; brother of Lois Burke and the late Virginia Wilhelm, Vera Kramer, Margaret DiSalvo and Patricia Campbell; grandfather of Kristen (Ryan) Ratajeski, Brittany and Jessica Stahl, Madeline, Ian, Gabrielle Klinkner, Ashley, Pearl, Aaron, Michael and Dustin Henchell, Brian Osteritter, Kathleen and Grace Klinkner; great-grandfather of Tyler, Kailey, Lauren, Josh and Jordan; he is also survived by many nieces and nephews. Walter served in the U.S. Air Force during the Korean War. He worked for the State Correctional Institute of Pittsburgh for 30 years until his retirement. Friends will be received at the John F. Slater Funeral Home, Inc., 412-881-4100, 4201 Brownsville Road, Brentwood 15227, Wednesday March 29, from 2 - 8 p.m.. Funeral Prayer on Thursday morning at 9:45. Mass of Christian Burial in St. Pius X Church, Brookline, at 10:30 a.m.. If desired, family suggests contributions to Genre's Kids With Cancer Fund, P.O.
