Obituary For William A. "Buck" Einloth

Age 78, on Tuesday, March 16, 2021, of Baldwin Borough.

Beloved husband of the late Lucille (Gorczyca); loving father of Brian Einloth and Jean Einloth; cherished grandfather of Shane, Aidan and Owen Einloth; brother of James (Bunny) Einloth, Mary Ellen (John) Barber and Grace Barron. Also survived by nieces and nephews. Buck was an electrician for over 25 years for US Steel at the Edgar Thomson Works in Braddock. He worked many long hours and was ever proud to have both of his children graduate from the University of Notre Dame. He loved the Pittsburgh Pirates, a devoted "Buccos" fan from the age of nine. Buck enjoyed sitting on the back patio in the summer and feeding the bunnies that would wait for him each evening. Buck was a gentle man, devoted to his family, and always there to lend a hand. The Lord called Buck home to his rest and to enjoy everlasting life with his wife Lucy there to welcome him home to Heaven. Friends will be received at the John F. Slater Funeral Home, Inc., 412-881-4100, 4201 Brownsville Road, Brentwood 15227 on Sunday, March 21, 2021 from 2-8 p.m. Funeral prayer on Monday morning at 10:45. Mass of Christian Burial in Triumph of the Holy Cross Parish, St. Elizabeth of Hungary Church, 1 Grove Place #4, Pittsburgh ,PA 15326, at 11:30 a.m. Masks and social distancing guidelines must be followed. In lieu of flowers, family suggests contributions to the Greater Pittsburgh Community Food Bank, 1 North Linden Street, Duquesne, PA 15110.

My sincerest condolences to the entire Einloth family. I remember many good times playing softball, basketball and hanging out at the O'Learys. He was a kind and gentle soul.

I am so sorry to hear of Bucky's passing. I remember that lovely guy well. He even saved me when at a very young age I climbed the maple tree in our back yard - got startled by a locust sitting next to me on a branch and fell out of the tree - Bucky was there and caught me! Unforgettable! He was like Superman to me that day! - Susan (O'Leary) Jeffries
