Husband of Pat (Ornato); father of Nathan Walz and Lauren Haag; grandfather of Nick, Nathan, Maya and Grant; brother of Jill Pack, Denny Walz and the late Raymond Walz. Friends will be received at the John F. Slater Funeral Home, Inc., 412-881-4100, 4201 Brownsville Road, Brentwood 15227, Thursday from 2-8 p.m. Funeral Prayer on Friday morning at 9:45. Mass of Christian Burial in St. Basil Church at 10:30 am.
