Obituary For William C. "Bill" Kennedy

Kennedy, William C. “Bill” Age 93, after a courageous battle with cancer, passed on Sunday, March 22, 2020, of Baldwin Boro. Beloved husband of 65 years to Nancy (Shearin) Kennedy; loving father of William J. (Cynthia B. and the late Dottie) Kennedy, of Bethel Park and Colleen S. (Duff) Mawby, of The Villages, Florida; cherished grandpa of Kimberly (Mark) McKinney, Kelly (Ben) Miller, Heidi (Bastin) Hermisson and Charles Mawby; son of the late William C. and Kathryn (Boylan) Kennedy; brother of Lois Plaia and the late Marian Gannon, Jean Metcalfe and Kay Kennedy; also survived by several grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Bill served in the U.S. Navy during WWII and worked for the United States Postal Service for 39 years until his retirement. He volunteered for St. Vincent De Paul, Nativity Church for 20 years and Nativity CCD for 5 years. Bill and Nancy enjoyed spending time at their summer home on Cheat Lake. They also enjoyed Silver Sneakers with their many great friends. The family wants to thank the caring wonderful staff at Paramount (Baldwin) and Hospice Care and Jefferson Hospital. They are all angels. Due to the current Coronavirus, there will be no visitation. Services will be private. Arrangements entrusted to the John F.
