November 29, 1944 - July 10, 2015

Nix, William C. "Bill" Age 70, on Friday, July 10, 2015, of Bethel Park .

Beloved husband of Joyce Mahr-Nix; father of Deana (Bryan Markovich) Hallman and Shawna (Dan) Shepherd; step-father of Robert (Vicki) Mahr, Scott (Renee) Mahr and Steven (Patty) Mahr; proud grandfather of 13 and great-grandfather of 3; brother of the late Mary Lou Cross. Friends will be received at the John F. Slater Funeral Home, Inc., 412-881-4100, 4201 Brownsville Road, Brentwood 15227, on Monday from 2-8 pm. Funeral Prayer on Tuesday morning at 9:45. Mass of Christian Burial in St. Louise de Marillac Church at 10:30. In lieu of flowers, family suggests contributions to American Lung Association, 810 River Avenue, #140, Pgh., PA 15212.
