November 29, 1920 - February 26, 2014

Devine, William D., Jr.

Age 93, peacefully and surrounded by family on Wednesday, February 26, 2014, of Brookline and Brentwood.

Beloved husband of the late Ann (Ballaban) Devine; loving father of William (Jacqueline), Timothy (Ann) and Patrick; proud grandfather of Julia, Austin, Nathaniel, Patrick and Madelyn; son of the late William D., Sr. and Alice Devine; brother of the late Grace Scott, James and Robert Devine; also survived by several nieces and nephews. Bill worked for the United States Postal Service for 33 yrs. until his retirement. He was a volunteer for St. Elizabeth food pantry as well as Mercy Hospital, and was a member of Pleasant Hills Men's Club. Friends will be received at the John F. Slater Funeral Home, Inc., 412-881-4100, 4201 Brownsville Road, Brentwood 15227, Monday from 4-8 p.m. Funeral Prayer on Tuesday morning at 9:15. Mass of Christian Burial in St. Elizabeth of Hungary Church at 10:00 am.
