Guthrie, William E. "Bill" "W3LDB"

Age 99, on Friday, February 7, 2014 of Whitehall.

Beloved husband of the late Dolores F. (Cuda) Guthrie for 68 years; loving father of Ruth Ann (the late Art) Griffiths, Robert W. (Judith) Guthrie, and Patti (Brian) Colella. Also survived by ten grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren. Bill was a Ham radio operator for over 78 years, he was a retired auto mechanic, and was a stock car driver for a number of years. Bill's family would like to thank Norbert PCF and Seven Oaks Hospice for their care and compassion. Friends will be received at the John F. Slater Funeral Home, Inc., 412-881-4100, 4201 Brownsville Road, Brentwood 15227 on Monday from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. where funeral services will be held on Tuesday at 11:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers, family suggests contributions to an Animal Shelter of your choice in Bill's name.
