Foster, William H. Age 94, on Saturday, June 16, 2018, of Upper St. Clair, formerly of Whitehall.

Beloved husband of the late Virginia G. (Griffith) Foster; loving father of William R. (the late Debora) Foster and James D. Foster; proud grandfather of Jared W. Foster; son of the late Roy A. and Olie M. Foster; brother of the late Alexander D. (the late Lillian) Foster; also survived by in-laws, nieces and nephews and their families. Bill began his career at Gulf Oil, then moved on to Ford Motor Co. for 30 years until his retirement. He then briefly worked for Target Ford and Ford Ads. Bill served on the Board of Directors for Brentwood Bank and remained a Director Emeritus to date. He was a past member of the Brentwood Kiwanis and was a 32nd degree Mason and a member of the Shriners. Throughout his adult life, he was a very active member of Baldwin Community United Methodist Church. Friends will be received at the John F. Slater Funeral Home, Inc., 412-881-4100, 4201 Brownsville Road, Brentwood 15227, Tuesday, June 19, 2018, 2:00 - 4:00 & 6:00 - 8:00 p.m., where a funeral service will be held Wednesday morning at 10:00.
