Obituary For Wilma "Sis" Hubenthal

Septhember 3, 1926 - April 8, 2017

Age 90, on Saturday, April 8, 2017, of Dormont, formerly of Flack St. Arlington.

Beloved mother of Ken (Betty) Hubenthal, Adele "Nancy" (James) Sparvero, Jim (Carol) Hubenthal, and the late Bucky at age 15 and together again; grandmother of nine; great-grandmother of 12; daughter of the late Adele and Norman Daschbach; also survived by many nieces and nephews. A shining light has gone out. She loved the piano, taught by the nuns at St. Henry's. She was a member of the World War II era musical group, "Three Buttons and a Bow". Never has there been a more generous person. Although the road was often quite hard, she never complained. We are so proud. If you listen, you may hear "The March of the Tin Soldiers". Friends will be received at the John F. Slater Funeral Home, Inc., 412-881-4100, 4201 Brownsville Road, Brentwood 15227, Tuesday, April 11, 2:00 - 8:00 p.m.. Funeral Prayer on Wednesday morning at 9:15. Mass of Christian Burial in Nativity Church at 10:00 a.m..
