Obituary For Yolanda (Ferrante) Solenday

Age 85, on June 12, 2020, of Baldwin.

Beloved wife of the late Harold A. Solenday; loving mother of Daniel A. (Lori) and David J. Solenday; proud Nona of Harrison, Samantha, Elizabeth, and Ashley. Friends will be received at the John F. Slater Funeral Home, Inc., 412-881-4100, 4201 Brownsville Road, Brentwood 15227, Monday, June 15, 2020 from 2-8. Funeral Prayer on Tuesday at 9:45 am. Mass of Christian Burial in Holy Apostles Parish at St. Albert the Great Church at 10:30 am. If desired, family suggests donations to Baldwin-Whitehall Education Foundation, 4900 Curry Road, Pittsburgh 15236 or Allegheny Health Network Hospice, Office of Fund Development, Hospice and Palliative Care, 4818 Liberty Avenue, Pittsburgh 15224.     Dave, Harrison and Elizabeth, Your Mom will always be remembered by me. She had a light about her that didn't ever go out.     Dave, Dan and family. Yolanda was always one of my favorite patients! She was such a joy to care for and I have thought of her often.
