Obituary For Yvonne H. Kalmeyer

August 29, 1926 - October 24, 2017

Kalmeyer, Yvonne (Hanselman), age 91, on Tuesday, October 24, 2017 of Whitehall, formerly of Brookline. Wife of the late Howard W. Kalmeyer; beloved mother of Cindy (Albert) Woodfield and Lori Kalmeyer; loving grandmother of Amanda (Yates) French, and Bradley (Kristy Hooper) Woodfield; "Gimee" of Kalista and Sawyer French; sister of Elma Rose and Betty Jean. Also survived by her loving nieces and nephews. Friends will be received at the John F. Slater Funeral Home, Inc., 412-881-4100, on Friday, October 27, 2017 from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. where funeral services will be held on Saturday morning at 11:00 a.m. presided by Leslie Myers. If desired, family suggests contributions to Shriners Hospitals for Children, 2900 N. Rocky Point Drive, Tampa, FL 33607.

    I'm so sorry to hear this. I know the influence she had on Amanda. So happy she enjoyed her 90+ years, but so understand the loss you are now feeling. May your sadness quickly subside and be replaced with happy memories of a wonderful mother, grandmother, and Gimee. Sending all of you many hugs.

    We were shocked to see this. She was the terrific mom of our former neighbors, Cindy & Albert and family. Praying for all of you that you find peace and comfort that she did not suffer.
