Obituary For Albert A. Mineweaser

Age 94, on Sunday, September 3, 2023, of Whitehall, previously of Bethel Park.

Beloved husband of the late Patricia and Mary M. Mineweaser; loving father of Gerald A. (Jacquelyn), Albert J. (Karen), Mary P, (Rami) Darwiche, Barbara (Derek) Piper and Joseph E. (Jo-Anne); stepfather of Denis (the late Carol) Nill and Leah (the late William) Yeager; cherished grandfather of Michael, Gregory, Jamie, Julie, Jason, Alexander, Luke, Deanna, Elena, Erica, Nicole, Jillian, Meghan, Jacob, Christa, Daniel, David, Jeremy and Jessica; great-grandfather of 16; brother of Anna (the late Victor) Merritt, Bernadette (the late Marvin) Bergstrom, Betty (the late Jack) Hicks, Bernard (the late Lorraine), the late Jane (Dick) Fackler, Marion (Jack) Sandberg, Rita (Francis) Rhoades, Robert (Shirley) Mineweaser and Leo (Nancy) Mineweaser. Also survived by the late Charles (survived by Bernadine) Mineweaser and numerous nieces and nephews. Albert was a member of the Knights of Columbus and Our Lady of Hope Parish. He was a U.S. Army Veteran and a Boy Scouts Merritt Badge Counselor; he retired from General Motors after 41 years.

Friends will be received at the John F. Slater Funeral Home, Inc., 412-881-4100, 4201 Brownsville Road, Brentwood 15227 on Friday, September 8, 2023 form 2-7 p.m. Funeral prayer on Saturday morning at 915. Mass of Christian Burial in Our Lady of Hope Parish, St. Germaine Church at 10:00 a.m. If desired, family suggests contributions to the Knights of Columbus, P.O. Box 544, Bethel Park, PA 15102.
