Obituary For Albert "Bud" Cain

August 1, 1943 - March 18, 2018

Cain, Jr. Albert B. "Bud" Age 74, on Sunday, March 18, 2018, of Pleasant Hills.

Beloved husband of 43 years to Susan (Barker) Cain; loving father of Chuck (Katy) Cain, Kim (Jeff) Borneman and Andy (Shannon) Cain; proud Pap Pap of Madeleine, Luke and Emilia Cain, Evan, Ethan and Aiden Borneman, and Sean and Brendan Cain; brother of Mary (Jim) Ruffennach, Patty (the late William) Reinersmann, Peggy(Charlie) Herold and Shellie (Steve) Bishoff; also survived by many loving nieces and nephews. Bud was retired from Baldwin-Whitehall School District where he taught for 35 years. He loved all things outdoors, especially hunting and fishing. Friends will be received at the John F. Slater Funeral Home, Inc., 412-881-4100, 4201 Brownsville Road, Brentwood 15227, Wednesday, March 21, 2018, from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Funeral prayer Thursday morning at 9:15. Mass of Christian Burial in St. Thomas A'Becket Church at 10:00 a.m.

    To the entire Cain family; Sorry to read about the loss of "Bud". I grew up two houses away from the Cain family in Whitehall. From my wife Nancy (lived on Highgrove) and I, best wishes to the entire family. Lots of memories.
