Obituary For Albert John Sciarretti, Jr.

Age 72, of Baldwin Borough, passed away on Thursday, September 9, 2021. Beloved husband of Bernadette (Kluczkowski) Sciarretti; loving father of Albert R. Sciarretti; son of the late Albert and Ruth (Balky) Sciarretti; brother of Diane (the late Kenneth) Frick, Kitty Sciarretti, Debbie (Robert) Meyers, Ricky (Charlene) Sciarretti and the late Patricia (Leonard) Coppola and Karen (Norman) Paczkowski; brother-in-law of Bernard (Terri) Kluczkowski. Also survived by numerous nephews, nieces, cousins, extended family and friends. In 1967, Al enlisted in the U.S. Navy. He served for four years on the USS Springfield as a GMM3 working on nuclear weapon warhead maintenance. Al loved doo-wop music, classic cars and the Christmas season. He also enjoyed golfing with his best friend Dick Yost, bowling, and painting. Al loved to go to breakfast at Denny's and The Blue Flame Restaurant. He enjoyed talking with the waitresses who he considered friends. Friends will be received at the John F. Slater Funeral Home, Inc., 412-881-4100, 4201 Brownsville Road, Brentwood 15227 on Monday, September 13, 2021 from 1-3 and 6-8 p.m. where a blessing service will be held on Tuesday morning at 11:00 a.m.
