Beloved husband of 51 years to Mary (Hofmann); beloved father of Lia (Jim) Zorn and Andrea (Mike) Lavelle; grandfather of David and Daniel Zorn and Olivia, Jack and Christopher Lavelle; brother of Gloria (the late Ray) Springer and the late Arky (Antoinette), Theresa and Dolores "Dee Dee" (survived by Rich) Terrify; also survived by nieces and nephews. Friends will be received at the John F. Slater Funeral Home, Inc., 412-881-4100, 4201 Brownsville Road, Brentwood 15227, on Monday morning from 8:30 to 9:30 am.
