Obituary For Alta J. "Lala" "Jo" Cooper

Age 87, on Friday, January 15, 2021, of East Liberty.

Beloved mother of Joe (Emily) Panzino and Maryanne Mucheron; proud grandmother of seven; sister of the late Inez Trividy, Larry Isaac and Harold G. Cooper. Also survived by nieces, nephews and cousins. La la was a long time employee of Sears and an avid lover of animals. Friends will be received at the John F. Slater Funeral Home, Inc., 412-881-4100, 4201 Brownsville Road, Brentwood 15227 on Wednesday, January 20, 2021 from 10:00 a.m. until the time of her funeral service which will be held in the Chapel at 12:30 p.m. Due to the current public health crisis, masks and social distancing guidelines must be adhered to.

    I'm Truly So Very Very Sorry, I Didn't Know Or I Would've Came To Funeral Home. Lala Was One Of The Sweetest,Kindest&Loving Mother,Grandma&Friend. I'm Truly Honored To Be A Part Of Her Life Years Ago.,She Loved Her Children&Grandchildren&Also Fed All The Cats&Animals In The Neighborhood. Her Love For Animals Shows The Just Magnificently Beautiful Big Loving&Giving Heart She Had. That's The Beautiful Lady(RIP) I Truly Had The Privilege Of Knowing.
