Brandt, Andrew L.

Age 67, on Monday, March 9, 2014, formerly of South Side.

Father of Leslie Carlin, Lisa Schneider, Brian Brandt and Joseph Brandt; also survived by six grandchildren; brother of George L. Brandt, Cassy Spath, Paul Brandt, Gregory Brandt and Rita Fox. Andy was a proud member of the VFW and served in the U.S. Army.

Friends will be received at the John F. Slater Funeral Home, Inc., on Friday from 2-7 p.m. where a Blessing Service will be held at 7:00 p.m. celebrated by Father John Bachkay. Military honors by VFW Post 1810. In lieu of flowers, family suggests memorial contributions can be made to Andy's family.

    Sorry to hear about Andy's passing. We were in grade school together at St. John's on the Southside. He was always a funny personality to be around, and made us all smile.
