Obituary For Anita C. (Gulassa) Rigot

Age 81, with her family by her side on Tuesday, May 14, 2024, of Whitehall, formerly of Brentwood.

Beloved wife of the late Clayton J. "Butch" Rigot; loving mom of Brian (Dina), Cary (Alicia), Kelly (Tony) Folino and Erin (Bryan) Malloy; proud grandma of Nathan (Alexandra), Kevin (Sara), Domenic, Calli, Aidan and Kelsey; great-grandma of Kaiden and Evelyn; sister of Bill (Lyn) Gulassa, Georgeanne (Mike) Atcheson, Barbara Bevevino and the late MaryLou Gulassa. Also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. The Rigot family would like to thank Paramount Bethel Park for the professional and compassionate care that was given to Anita. Friends will be received at the John F. Slater Funeral Home, Inc., 412-881-4100, 4201 Brownsville Road, Brentwood 15227 on Sunday, May 19, 2024 from 4-8 p.m. Funeral prayer on Monday morning at 9:45. Mass of Christian Burial in Blessed Trinity Parish, St. Sylvester Church at 10:30 a.m. If desired, family suggests contributions to March of Dimes at https://marchforbabies.org/

    Anita was my neighbor. She always sat outside to enjoy the weather and chat with neighbors. Every Halloween, no matter how cold it was, she sat outside to give treats to all the kids. She was a very kind lady and I will miss seeing and talking to her on her porch.
