Obituary For Ann Stawowczyk

Age 88, peacefully passed away on Tuesday, August, 17, 2021, of Brentwood.

Beloved wife of 59 years to the late Edward J. Stawowczyk; loving mother of Edward J. (Maryann), Michael J., Steven W. and Cynthia Klein; cherished grandmother of Edward, Myranda and Matthew; sister of the late Clara, Elizabeth, Val, Andrew, Art and Frank. Also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and their families. Ann was a longtime devout member of St. Sylvester Parish. She was a retiree from the Katz Graduate School of Business at the University of Pittsburgh. She was a voracious reader, avid bowler, enjoyed knitting, crocheting, cooking and baking. Friends will be received at the John F. Slater Funeral Home, Inc. on Sunday, August 22, 2021 from 1-4 p.m. Funeral prayer on Monday morning at 9:45. Mass of Christian Burial in Blessed Trinity Parish, St. Sylvester Church at 10:30 a.m. If desired, family suggests contributions to Catholic Charities of Diocese of Pittsburgh, Inc., 212 9th Street, Pittsburgh, PA 15222.
