Age 96, on Tuesday, January 3, 2023, of Whitehall, passed away peacefully in her sleep on Tuesday, January 3, 2023.

Beloved wife of the late Alex Suchy, Anna was preceded in death by her parents Mary (Danylik) and Nicholas, and her brothers Nicholas, Michael, Stephen, Metro, Theodore, and Willis. She is survived by her sister-in-law Alice Gogniat, and many nieces and nephews.

Anna was an active member of the St. John the Baptist Ukrainian Catholic Church where she was a faithful parishioner and longtime worker on their famous pierogi-making team.

She was a kind, gentle soul who always had a kind word for everyone and was a true and loving servant of God. She was a wonderful person who will be missed by all who knew and loved her.

Friends will be received at the John F. Slater Funeral Home, Inc., 412-881-4100, 4201 Brownsville Road, Brentwood 15227 on Friday, January 6, 2023 from 3:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. A Parastas Service will be held during visitation at 3:00 p.m. Funeral Liturgy on Saturday, January 7, 2023 at St. John The Baptist Ukrainian Catholic Church at 10:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to St. John the Baptist Church, 109 South 7th Street, Pittsburgh, PA 15203.
