Obituary For Anna L. Baldinger

Baldinger, Anna L. (Wise), age 82, on Thursday, July 8, 2021, of Bethel Park. Beloved wife of the late Ronald "Whitey" Baldinger; loving mother of Kevin (Debbie), Pam (Michael), Roy (Maria), Eric (Toni) and Patrice (Brad) and the late Larry; cherished grandmother of Hope, Paige Grant, Triana, Canaan, Nicole, Elizabeth, Daiden, Sydnie, Gage, Logan, Seth, Lauren, Emma, Ian; great-grandmother of Ozzy, Lucas and Makenzie. Also survived by lifelong friends Arleen (Road Trip), Cathy and Mel, Donna and the late Buddy, Dolores, Mary Anne, Colleen, and Maureen.
Anna (Ann, Mom, Nana, Grandma and Great Grandma) was the heart of the family. She took care of her family with so much love and support. She was a stay-at-home mom that took care of her children and dedicated her life to them. She was the encouragement her family needed, and she helped them to see that they could do anything they put their mind to. She is known for her ability to talk to everyone she met as if she had always been your best friend. People just liked her. They saw her kindness; enjoyed her joking comments and laughter. She always had a smile and sparkle in her eyes. You couldn’t help but to enjoy her presence. She amazingly opened her home to others who loved her as their “other” mom or grandmom. There are 10 we can remember although the family is sure there are more, she cared for them all. That’s the person she was. She offered her home to those who needed one; her support to those who needed it; and her life-long friendship to those who needed it and to those who just loved her as their own family. She will now join her late husband who she was with for 61 years. She lost him on the first of this year and was heartbroken. They were always together. They enjoyed sitting on their porch together. She loved her butterflies, ladybugs, birds, deer and flowers. She loved their weekly trips to the secondhand stores. Their time together each day always ended with a kiss and an “I love you”. They will now be together again and forever “sleeping with the angels”. She meant so much to her family and friends. She will be greatly missed and never forgotten. Friends will be received at the John F. Slater Funeral Home, Inc., 412-881-4100, 4201 Brownsville Road, Brentwood 15227 on Wednesday, July 14, 2021 from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. where a blessing service will be held in the Chapel on Thursday at 11:00 a.m.
