Harnack, Anne Louise, age 70, of Baldwin, Pa., on Saturday, January 7, 2023. Born in Homestead, Pa., November 1, 1952, to the late Theodore F. Jr. and Thelma Harnack. Loving sister of Fred (the late Amy) of Bethel Park, Pa., Janice (Robert) Skok of Valparaiso, Indiana and Joyce (Robert) Snyder of Milton, De.; proud Aunt of Christina, Andrew (Janae) and Daniel Snyder, Nicholas (Amber) and Christopher (Stacy) Skok and Jamie and Jason Harnack; cousin of Steve Chester, Judy Gilmore and Wendy Hodge; dear friend of Donna Bachner and Judy Gibson. Anne was a graduate of Carlow College, and retired from UPMC. She was a member of Prince of Peace Lutheran Church. She treasured her home in the Baldwin Towers and loved and was loved by many of the residents there. Friends will be received at the John F. Slater Funeral Home, 412-881-4100, 4201 Brownsville Road, Brentwood, 15227 on Tuesday, January 10, 2023 from 10-11 a.m. Funeral Service in the John F. Slater Funeral Home Chapel at 11:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions in her name to Prince of Peace Lutheran Church, 400 Old Clairton Road, Pittsburgh, PA 15236. 01/09/2023 Deepest sympathy. God b with you-Anne and your family. 01/08/2023 Anne and I did many things together in the 30 years we have known each other. I remember taking her on our first road trip. It was a little over an hour when Anne wanted to know how long we were planning on riding in the car. She told me she had never been on a trip in the car that long before. In my family a road trip would be at least a couple hours long. Anne learned how to love our road trips. We had many enjoyable road trips. I love you Anne, wait for me in heaven. I have had the pleasure of knowing Anne for the past 6 years through my volunteer work with Wesley Family Services. We became friends and I will miss seeing her. Anne was kind, thoughtful and so intelligent. She always spoke proudly of her siblings and nieces and nephews. You are in my thoughts and prayers at this sad time.
