Obituary For Anthony John Barone

December 26, 1960 - February 10, 2016

Barone, Anthony J. At the age of 55, on Wednesday, February 10, 2016 of Whitehall.

Loving husband of Donna Gianni Barone; father of Alexandra, Laney and Michael Barone; son of the late Anthony and Mary Louise (McGlumphy) Barone; brother of the late Anita Spina, Jean Haynor, Ray and Alvin (Beeg) Barone; brother-in-law of Gary Gianni, Vicki Neidermeyer, Carol Pavilonis and the late Elaine Gianni. Also survived by his many loving Barone, Spina, Haynor, and Gianni nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins; and his former wife Karen Barnes. Anthony will also be missed by his fellow musicians and band members. He was dual owner of Premier Real Estate and Anthony J. Barone Appraisal Services as well as an accomplished musician, singer, performer and band-mate. Friends will be received at the John F. Slater Funeral Home, Inc., 412-881-4100, 4201 Brownsville Road, Brentwood, PA 15227 on Sunday from 1-8 p.m. at which time a blessing and celebration of Anthony's life will be held.     Anthony has been a friend to our family for 50+ years. We were all deeply saddened by this news. Our condolences go out to his family. Please know our thoughts are with you all during this difficult time. I wish we had recorded Anthony's beautiful rendition of Amazing Grace at my brother Craig's funeral to share with his loved ones now.
