Obituary For Anthony William "Tony" Luta

November 20, 1952 - June 25, 2015

Luta, Anthony William "Tony" Age 62, on Thursday, June 25, 2015, of Pleasant Hills, formerly of Brookline.

Beloved husband of 40 years to Joyce (Marlatt) Luta; loving father of Jennifer and Mark (Jenna) Luta; proud Pap Pap of Alexa; beloved son of Julia and the late Anthony Luta; brother-in-law of Gary and Curtis (Janet) Marlatt; also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Tony was a proud and long-time employee of Huckestein Mechanical Services, Inc. Friends will be received at the John F. Slater Funeral Home, Inc., 412-881-4100, 4201 Brownsville Road, Brentwood 15227, Monday 2-4 and 6-8 pm and Tuesday from 2-8 pm. Funeral Prayer on Wednesday morning at 9:15. Mass of Christian Burial in St. Elizabeth of Hungary Church at 10 am. In lieu of flowers, family suggests contributions to Animal Friends, 562 Camp Hollow Rd., Pittsburgh, PA 15237 or ALS Association - Western PA Chapter, 416 Lincoln Ave., Pittsburgh, PA 15209.

    I worked with Joyce when she worked at the Century III AAA. I wish to send my condolences to her and her family. I wasn't able to visit the funeral home and I am sorry for that. My Blessings.
