Obituary For Arthur F. Marizzaldi

December 24, 1944 - September 10, 2017

Marizzaldi, Arthur F. Art lost his couragous battle with cancer on September 10, 2017, at the age of 72.

He was the son of Furio Marizzaldi and Frances (Giarrusso); loving husband of 48 years to Joan (Waters); great father to Marc (Debbi) and Michael; proud papap to Lyla and Claire; brother of the late Philip, Mary Yosi (Primo), Angelo (Dorothy), Vince and Ida Jordan (Robert). Art was a graduate of South Catholic High School and Robert Morris University. He worked as Vice president of residential real estate at National City Bank for 32 years. He found a second, rewarding career as Asset Manager for Action Housing for 11 years. He will be missed by many nieces, nephews, friends and his breakfast buddies. Friends will be received at the John F. Slater Funeral Home, Inc., 412-881-4100, 4201 Brownsville Road, Brentwood 15227, Thursday from 6-8 p.m. and Friday from 1-3 and 6-8 p.m. Funeral Prayer on Saturday morning at 9:15. Mass of Christian Burial in St. Gabriel of the Sorrowful Virgin Church at 10 a.m. If desired, family suggests contributions to St. Gabriel of the Sorrowful Virgin Parish, 5200 Greenridge Drive, Pittsburgh, PA 15236.

    Sorry for your loss. He was such a nice man. I remember seeing him a few months ago at The Olde Place. I still remember the times my mother, dad, and I had on those New Year's Eve's at your house. We will keep your family in our thoughts and prayers at this difficult time.

    I am so glad we had such a wonderful visit when you last came to California. Every time I see that squirrel in our back yard I will think of you! When someone you love becomes a memory, that memory is treasured. Love , hugs, and prayers for strength for Joan, Marc, Michael, Debbi and girls.
