October 2, 1935 - October 31, 2014

Georges, Augustus "Gus/Jr."

Age 79, of Baldwin, after a courageous battle with Leukemia, passed away on October 31, 2014.

Beloved husband of Janet; father of Joy (Tim) Yee and Augustus III (Kimberly) Georges; grandfather of Ashley and Augustus IV Georges, David (Lorna) and Sharon Yee; brother of Frances Fisher, Sarah "Sally" Keller and the late James, Raymond, Regis, and Louis Georges; also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins. Gus is the owner of Georges Supply Center, Inc. in South Park. Friends will be received at the John F. Slater Funeral Home, Inc., 412-881-4100, 4201 Brownsville Road, Brentwood 15227, Wednesday and Thursday from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m., where a Blessing Service will be held on Friday at 10:30 a.m. If desired, family suggests contributions to The Leukemia and Lymphoma Society, 333 East Carson Street, Suite 441, Pittsburgh, PA 15219.
