Age 86, of Pittsburgh, passed away peacefully on Sunday, March 10, 2024.

Beloved mother of Constance M. (the late James) D'Orfeo and Timothy E. (Lisa) McIntire; loving grandmother of Angela, Michael and Zachary; proud great-grandmother of Kaitlyn, Adam Jr. and Eddie; sister of Janet and the late Ed and Joan. Also survived by several nieces, nephews and their families. Barbara worked as a nurse for over 30 years until her retirement. She became a skilled crocheter and knitter and enjoyed sharing her beautiful handwork with friends and family. Friends will be received at the John F. Slater Funeral Home, Inc., 412-881-4100, 4201 Brownsville Road, Brentwood 15227 on Saturday, March 16, 2024 from 2-6 p.m. at which time visitation will conclude with a family remembrance.
