Meyer, Barbara F. (Sokolowski) Age 81, on Saturday, December 27, 2014, of Arlington.

Beloved wife of the late William Meyer; mother of Debra (Richard) Eisel, Marlene (Rege) Newell; grandmother of Richard (Kelly); Ronald (Leeann), Ross, Lisa, Nicholas, Zachary and Natalie; great grandmother of six; sister of Martha (John) Tomko, Lenny Sokolowski, the late Raymond, John, Leo Sokolowski, Flo Constantine and Helen Metzler. Barb took pride in her grandkids. She enjoyed her friends at the Senior Center and especially watching "The Waltons." Friends will be received at the John F. Slater Funeral Home, Inc., 412-881-4100, 4201 Brownsville Road, Brentwood 15227, Tuesday, December 30, 2014, 2 - 8 pm. Funeral Prayer on Wednesday morning at 11:15 am. Mass of Christian Burial in St. Sylvester Church at 12:00 pm.
