Tompel, Beatrice G. (Goob), age 97, on Friday, August 10, 2018, formerly of Arlington Avenue, currently of the Baptist Homes. Beloved wife of the late John W. Tompel; loving mother of the late Bonnie Brickner and Janet Rauch; mother-in-law of Lou Brickner and Gary Rauch; cherished grandmother of David (Karyn) Brickner, John Brickner, Gary (Jean) Rauch and Anne (Philip) Reichner; proud great-grandmother of Matthew and Christopher Brickner, Emily, Jonathan and Parker Rauch and Paige Reichner. Bea was the last survivor of her seven siblings, Frank, Laura, Margaret, Anna, Bill, Carl and Harry. She was a longtime member of St. Henry Parish, and above all, she loved to dance. Friends will be received at the John F. Slater Funeral Home, Inc., 412-881-4100, 4201 Brownsville Road, Brentwood 15227 on Wednesday, August 15, 2018 from 2-8 p.m. Funeral prayer on Thursday morning at 9:45.
